Ok, lets begin.

Book Blog

First, I've read pretty much every teen vampire series there is.

Loved them all.
Especially, The Twilight Saga by Stephanie Meyer, yes, I know.  I don't care. (Totally Addicted)
I am starting a special log on my computer of all the books I have ever read, ever started to read and never finished, reading now, and want to read.  It will be a very detailed list and full of notes and comments.  I have met a few people in my life that have always urged me to read, and well, now I am.  Also, I have a few friends now who keep me up to speed on whats good and whats not, and also keep me motivated to keep up with them.  So, here's to you guys, thanks and keep up the good work.

Second, I am on a big love story kick, especially now that I have reevaluated my relationship with Troy.  Our wedding is 108 days away and we need alot of work.  Specifics are not important right now.

So, Nicholas Sparks--your my new man.  Next, I've conqured the Emily Giffin Series, and Can't Wait to see Something Borrowed n the big screen on May 6.  Yay!  Next, Kristen Hannah, Yeah, your stuff is so good.  Jodi Picoult, can't wait to start on you. Uhhhh so many more.  Just keep posted.

Third, my two main new years resolutions.
Yes, The EVERYTHING JULIA CHILD & ITALIAN 101.
They have been sitting on the back burner taunting me and threatening to burn.  But wait, I will get to you.  I will.

Lastly, Fourth, the classics.
I am going to start my very own literature course.  I am going to start reading the classics, true classics.  Pride and Prejeduice, Anna Karina, War & Peace, 1984, Romeo & Juliet, Lord of the Flies, Jane Eyre, Sense and Sensablity, Lolita, .......So many.  But yes, I will also add this to my to do list.

So, as I begin to reevaluate my life & relationship, these are the things that will keep me sane, grounded, and most of all, true to myself.  Thanks for hearing me rant.  Stephanie xoxo

  1. Hey Steph, Wow! This is an awesome blog! If you don't mind, I think I'll pop in now and again.
I'm currently reading Steven Donaldson's Last Covenent series (the extension of the Thomas Covenent Unbeliever trilogies from 1-2 decades ago - yeah, I said d-e-c-a-d-e-s). I'm on Runes of Earth right now. Do NOT let Nick Sparks get you down or thinking negatively. I've actually met the man and his wife - NOT impressed (bigotted, wealthy and flaunt it in everyone's face especially people with more skin color, etc.) His negative vibe seeps into his books - Hollywood managed to turn some of it around but... anyway, read him with a BIG grain of salt.
Have fun on the classics. If you ever need to talk, hopefully you still have my phone number, or you can PM me on facebook. :) Miss you! xoxo
